Job Description: Provides public health nursing, including both chronic and communicable disease control and prevention under the direction of Public Health Nursing Supervisor. Gives or provides for the preventative, therapeutic, and restorative aspects of care, using the nursing process. Serves as back-up to other PHN duties as needed or assigned. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. The preferred candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Nursing; candidates with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing with one to two years related experience and/or training will be considered. Must hold a current Colorado Registered Nursing License. Salary $47,000-$50,000 commensurate with education and experience. Drug testing and background check required.
