Food Service Technician Detention Center

Job Description: The Duties include but are not limited to: Performs institutional cooking work involving the preparation of a large volume and variety of food. Will prepare meat, vegetables, and other foods.  Must be familiar with preventive and protective cooking skills. Will follow applicable State and local health regulations, laws, and ordinances with regard to assigned duties.  High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Must pass background check and drug screening.  $14 per hour, full time, full benefits.

Case Aide for Child Welfare

Job Description: The Department of Human Services is seeking a Case Aide to work with Child Welfare. Responsibilities include: reports to an assigned caseworker regarding client progress, supervises court ordered visits for the children, maintains records/files, data entry and documentation, arranges supportive services for clients, transports clients and children to various appointments and teaches families basic living skills.   High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience or training. Bilingual-Spanish preferred.  Must have valid driver’s license.

Job Description: Determine IV-E eligibility for children placed in out of home care or MOE eligibility for children receiving in-home services.  Determination of eligibility for Medical Assistance for child(ren) placed in out of home care. $15.92/Hour Full time 37.50 Hours a week, Full benefits. Case Manager for TANF

Job Description: Department of Human Services is seeking a Case Manager. Responsibilities include: Determines eligibility for Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF)/Colorado Works, Food Assistance/SNAP, and Health First Colorado (Medicaid).  Must have strong computer skills and interviewing skills.  Will complete individual responsibility contracts with applicants and maintains a broad knowledge of community services.  High School Diploma or equivalent required, two years of education and experience preferred.  Bilingual preferable.   $15.92 per hour.

Maintenance Technician for Road and Bridge

Job Description: Must be able to drive a Semi, operate and maintain trucks to transport materials and operate other heavy equipment used in the maintenance of county roads.  Must be able to perform physical labor as needed.  Must have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record, with three years of experience preferred. Investigator for Sheriff's Department

Job Description: Conducts primarily lengthy complex criminal investigations, i.e. homicide, arson, serious assaults, child abuse, and other felonies. Investigations include; interviews of suspects, witnesses, and victims. Searches for evidence of criminal acts. Writes comprehensive and detailed reports of findings and actions. Effects physical arrests and attends required training when necessary. Analyze and corroborate legal and agency documents and records in support of criminal investigations pertaining to complex crime activities.

Child Welfare Social Worker

Job Description: Responsibilities include: Intake and/or ongoing social casework services to families, Drug Court, will perform assessments and evaluations, counseling, and crisis intervention. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related field required. Full County benefits. 37.50 Hours Per week. Tiered Salary Offered: Entry Level: $37,500 No experience. With completion of Child Welfare Academy and six months’ on the job pay will be raised to $40,000.

Detention Officer

Job Description: Routine work in the safekeeping of prisoners in the custody of the Sheriff at the county detention facility.
