Maintenance Technician for Road and Bridge

Job Description: Must be able to drive a Semi, operate and maintain trucks to transport materials and operate other heavy equipment used in the maintenance of county roads.  Must be able to perform physical labor as needed.  Must have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record, with three years of experience preferred. Full time, full benefits.  $16.75 per hour.   

Environmental Health Specialist/Health Inspector

Job Description: Performs environmental health inspections and investigations as required by state and local laws, rules, and regulations. Provides environmental health consultation and upholds a strong sense of customer service in all working operations. Inform, educate, and train the public on Environmental Health issues and compliance. Investigator for Sheriff's Department

Job Description: Conducts primarily lengthy complex criminal investigations, i.e. homicide, arson, serious assaults, child abuse, and other felonies. Investigations include; interviews of suspects, witnesses, and victims. Searches for evidence of criminal acts. Writes comprehensive and detailed reports of findings and actions. Effects physical arrests and attends required training when necessary. Analyze and corroborate legal and agency documents and records in support of criminal investigations pertaining to complex crime activities.

Child Welfare Social Worker

Job Description: Responsibilities include: Intake and/or ongoing social casework services to families, Drug Court, will perform assessments and evaluations, counseling, and crisis intervention.  
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related field required.  One year related experience preferred.  Salary- $36,000 to $37,100 Full time, Full benefits.  This position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Department of Education for student loans.

Patrol Deputy

Job Description: Must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and be Colorado Post Certified. Pre-employment background check and drug screen required upon offer of employment. 2 years relevant law enforcement experience preferred. Excellent pay DOE, full time, full benefits.

Detention Officer

Job Description: Routine work in the safekeeping of prisoners in the custody of the Sheriff at the county detention facility.  

Oversees inmates during transport and in their quarters, testifies in court and processes arrest/booking paperwork for detention and courts.  Must have the ability to legally carry a firearm.  Full time, full benefits.  Starting wage $14-$15 per hour DOE
