The county plan requires employees to contribute 4% of their compensation and matches 4% after one year of employment. Employees have the right to self-direct the investment into several different types of funds.

CTSI manages the County Health Pool (CHP), the only county-owned health plan provider in Colorado with benefits, contribution rates, and coverages determined by representatives from member counties.
