2020 Property Tax Payment Dates and Information before, during and after COVID19 (3/25/2020)

Property Tax Payment Dates per state statute 39-10-104.5
    Property taxes are due January 1st for the previous year.  Payment may be paid in two equal installments or in one full installment.

Half Payment Option Deadlines
    First Half:  February 29, 2020
    Second Half:  June 15, 2020

Full Payment Option Deadline
    April 30, 2020

Alamosa County Board of Commissioners declare COVID-19 a local disaster

The Alamosa County Board of Commissioners made a formal disaster declaration on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, in anticipation of the imminent impacts from the COVID-19 public health emergency. The declaration, which is in effect until April 22, 2020, is necessary to ensure the public health, safety and welfare of the people of Alamosa County.
