Public Notice effective January 17, 2023 until further notice.

The Board of County Commissioners for Alamosa County will hold a regularly scheduled Worksession every First and Third Wednesday at 9:00 am located at 8900 Independence Way, Alamosa, CO 81101.  Meetings can be cancelled when no business needs to be conducted.  In person attendance is allowed but no Virtual Conference option will be provided, no minutes will be taken, and no recording will be taken.  No decisions will be made during a work session.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held before the Alamosa Board of County Commissioners on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 9:00AM in the Alamosa County Administration Building, 8900 Independence Way, Alamosa, Colorado to receive public input regarding the adoption of the Guidelines and Regulations For Water Projects For Export Outside The San Luis Valley as Designated as Matters Of State Interest of Alamosa County.

Upper Rio Grande Valley Transmission Study RFP

Alamosa County, in partnership with the Colorado Energy Office (“CEO”), on behalf of the Rocky Mountain Region Transmission Coalition (“RMR-TC”) partners are issuing this Request for Proposal “Upper Rio Grande Valley Transmission Study and Stakeholder Engagement” to consulting firms specializing in the energy sector and stakeholder engagement to conduct the Upper Rio Grande Valley (“URGV”) Transmission Study (“Study”).
